What does LeaderBoard provide? They provide the avenues in which your organization can make more profit on and at your event - results that will leave participants thinking you spent a fortune to put the tournament together.
Was the increase on your net proceeds from the tournament increased by a substantial amount from the previous year? The years prior to LeaderBoard coming on board, we averaged $9,500 in net profits. The year LeaderBoard came on board, we had $17,481 in net profits. That's almost double the net profits. And, for the small chapter & market base we had, that was good. I can only imagine if we had been a larger organization, how much more profits we could have generated.
Was LeaderBoard able to increase your attendance numbers? Attendance is, in a sense, more dependent on how well your organization markets the event and not so much dependent on what LeaderBoard provides. The potential to have higher attendance/participation at your event is directly related to THE VALUE & PROFESSIONALISM that only LeaderBoard can deliver. So, if you market your event right, utilizing those things that you & LeaderBoard have agreed to provide for your tournament, you should have no problem making it a successful one with both attendance & net profits.
How would you suggest marketing using LeaderBoard? My suggestion is to market along the lines of "New & Improved" and "More Bang for Your Buck." State exactly all that is offered, to whom, and for what cost. LeaderBoard can provide you with great ideas on how to do this. That's just one of the reasons having them assist with your tournament is such an asset!
